Welcome
I’ve hit refresh. The page, it’s content, the goals, and even the stories are getting a facelift. I figured now that I’m about 50k into my debut novel it was time to flesh out the site to reflect as much. As you are most likely discovering me (and my writing) for the first time, lets play start with the fundamentals.
I’m B.B. Miller. And yes, that is a pen name. No you can’t have my real one (yet). I chose a pen name for the very simple reason of privacy. That’s all, nothing nefarious. Now that that has been established, lets get to the real topic at hand.
My Book(s)
The Legacy of Leithu series is an anticipated 5 book YA fantasy fiction series that is a healthy blend of Narnia and Potter, with a touch of Middle Earth for good measure. Yea, those are some lofty comparisons, but facts are facts.
The world of Leithu contains Magic, fantastic mystical beasts, portals, ancient hidden artifacts and of course, some dragons. My three teen protagonists; Cassie, Evan and Yaresch, face challenges that test their wit, courage, and adversity. Here’s the pitch…
Short pitch:
If you found an old trunk in your grandparents attic with rare coins, strange maps and mysterious other pirate-like items, wouldn’t you want to explore the item’s significance and unlock their mysteries? What if those mysteries unlocked a parallel world with ties to your own family lineage?
Long pitch:
Cassie and Evan discover a magical spyglass and the ancestral secrets tucked away with it in a mysterious trunk found in their grandparent’s attic. With further inspection, and cautious exploration, they embark on a journey into a parallel universe, thrust headlong into the world of Leithu. As they learn more of the nefarious Chancellor and his ongoing rule over the region, guided by their distant cousin Yaresch, the teens discover a darker looming threat that exists within the world. Stories of ancient magic, evil wizards, and the looming threat of the evil Fentor build on the mystery of the land as they seek guidance and assistance for the journey ahead. Can they find the allies needed to help their captive relatives? How will the items from Mimi’s attic unlock new secrets or unravel the mystery of Fentor, as they embark on the perilous journeys ahead?

So that’s it in a nutshell. If the above seems even remotely interesting, have a look around. The site is secondary to the book, so pardon it being so sparsely populated. However, I may have some nuggets, excerpts, and possible content dumps for you to review in time. Hopefully, however, my time isn’t spent here on being a webDev, and rather it is spent crafting the world for you to fully enjoy once it’s published.
Thanks for reading… exploring… and supporting.
